Didn't have much hope for this, but it works very well. Even with just a few uses, I'm noticing improvement. One thing I didn't see in the directions (they're teeny tiny!) was you keep your eyes closed during use.

It's great...I've already recommended it to two people in the last week since I bought it. I bought it as a sleep aid and it seems to be working.

I have tried about 5 other eye misters before trying this one. Don’t let yourself be fooled by all the other cutesy ones that seem to be more for looks than for functionality. A few of them stopped working within weeks of buying them. I have Sjogrens so my eyes are always so dry and itchy and feel as if they have sand inside. Thank goodness I found this eye nebulizer which has finally restored moisture to my eyes and with the added benefit of the heat, my eyes feel great again. It may have been a little more expensive than the others but worth every penny because honestly, I prefer functionality and relief before some cute cheap plastic device that stops working after only a few uses. This one was very easy to use, just add water or saline, (beware of gel based eye drops which will clog the mister) turn it on to either a steady stream or an intermittent mist, choose your heat level, place the cup up to your eye and 10 to 15 seconds later, voila, sweet relief. I almost didn’t buy it because of all of the other cheaper, less expensive versions, but I am so glad I did. If you too have dry, itchy eyes, then this is definitely the one to buy.

I've had chronic dry eyes for years and have used numerous OTC moisturizing eye drops. My eye Dr.
did an in office test for my tear film. She said that I had difficulty retaining what little tears that I did produce. I was given a prescription for eye drops but my insurance wouldn't cover the Rx. The out of pocket cost for me was unrealistic.

I decided to continue using OTC drops even if I needed to replenish them frequently to keep my dry eye symptoms under control. Looking for alternatives, I found the heated eye mister on Aryxx and after reading the reviews thought it was worth a try. Luckily for me I was able to buy it during a 50% off day. Compared to the cost of Rx eye drops it was affordable.

I use 5 ml. of sterile saline heated up for 3 minutes on the lowest setting then bathe both eyes first thing in the morning and before going to bed. 5 ml. will take about 5 minutes to do. It is soothing and refreshes my natural tear film. I still use OTC eye drops in between the misting but it isn't needed as frequently as before. The treatment of saline mist extends the relief that I get for my dry eyes. I am glad that I purchased this device and recommended it for anyone who has problems with chronic dry eyes.
